How to plant a tree

                                     How to plant a tree
1 First you need a tree, it can be any shape or size. Then you need to get a shovel a small bag of descent soil. Remember if the tree is in a plastic pot take the tree out gently.

2 Then you need to find a good spot to plant it, some where in the ground where it isn't to rocky or to steep

3 Then you get your shovel so you can dig a hole in the ground. The hole has to be pretty deep like half a meter ruler.

4 After you have dug a hole place the roots of the tree in the ground, then get your good soil and spread it around the tree.
If you have any compost I would mix a little bit of it with your good soil.

6 Now get a bucket of water if you have one or you can use a horse and tip the water all around the bottom of the tree not the top of the tree. Then put some shoes on that you don't mind getting dirty and step on the soil to push the water down in the ground.

And remember to water the tree once a week or twice.

The Dark is Rising

Yay  I am back at school,
I am sure my teacher Stephanie is proud to here that I have been reading in the holidays.
I have been reading the book The Dark is Rising. I have only started reading the book but I have gone pretty fare already almost half way through. This mysterious book is about a boy who has just turned 11 and he is the last human to be born with the old ones powers. He needs to find magical symbols that someone else is trying get for a bad reason. This is number 2 book from the series it is a great book to read, especially  if you are over 10 or 11 you will be able to understand most things that are happening in the book.
Better start reading :)
